At the Oakland Museum of California today, I learned about many different ecosystems in California. Fun Fact highlight of the exhibit: The acorn woodpecker not only has incestuous group sex, but it also has annual parties around acorn harvest time, in which the peckers perform vocal exercises, play arial games, and go on group insect hunts. awesome!
